Small Budget Events + Custom Floral

What does it mean have a small floral budget?

Budget is the mother of invention. Luckily for you I only focus on small budget events and custom arrangements. We'll make it work, whether it's a few hundred dollars or thousands. I try to use flowers from as many local Georgia growers, typically I'll need a minimum of $200-$400 to do that.  Why do I choose to focus on this price point? It's the scale that I know I can deliver with my current capacity, studio space, and experience and maintain a quality product and experience while maintaining a healthy work life balance. If you've got a bigger budget, that's fine too, in those cases I partner with other great florists to share the load.

Here's the deal, though, while I work to offer great value for the money, this doesn't mean I'm a discount florist, nor can I work miracles. I'm able to price the way I do because of low overhead and use local suppliers when possible.

It does mean we'll work within our means, and  embrace creativity. You may not get what you want or how many, but we can work together to quickly prioritize your needs. That's what makes this a collaborative process. You give me a budget and some inspiration and I can see what we can accomplish together.

What will my budget get me?

This is so tough! For a few hundred dollars you'll consistently be able to get a a bouquet and few arrangements with standard flowers. The more the budget increases, the quantity or number of premium flowers increases. Curious about what's standard and what's premium, let's chat.

You can make a budget stretch in a lot of ways, sometimes it's by using recycled vases, sometimes it's by using a single bloom,  sometimes it's  minimalism, sometimes it's deferring setup, delivery, and breakdown by doing it yourself!

What area do you serve and why do you focus on small budget floral?

I work in metro Atlanta area, preference given to events in  East Atlanta/ Decatur. I can work event setup into your budget, whether it's a full setup, drop at your event, or you pick up. However, you're always welcome to pick up arrangements yourself, which will reduce overall cost.  Delivery and setup minimums apply.

I focus on small-budget florals because I love sharing flowers with people.  It's also just more manageable for me and my stress level because I can get to know people and have confidence in my delivery. I'm also supported by other jobs/income streams and balance those. That said, I partner on larger events to make sure we can all do our best and live our best.

What can and can't you do?

​I can:

  • do  all sort of vase arrangements, flower bars,  and  bouquets for events, wedding, and editorial.

Thinks that are harder but might be doable:

  • floral arches, I know everyone loves these now! I can do them I just might say no. I have limited space and these can quickly eat up a budget, but let's talk

  •  put together boutonnieres and corsages as a stand alone. Again, it can be tough to stay in a budget with these.

Things I don't do:

  •  promotional floral or work in exchange for exposure marketing. Thanks for thinking of me though, and remember I can work in your budget if something changes.

  • arrangements that require floral foam. Floral foam is a one time use plastic, and micro plastic at that so I operate as foam free.  Don't worry still a lot we can work with here and I'm constantly looking for alternatives!

What's the process how do I get started?

Contact me using the contact form or via email. If you can give me your budget and  any ideas  of what you're looking for ( link that pinterest!), and any other detail. I'll review and get back to you within 3 business days.  We'll chat, I'll pull together a proposal, and then we'll book the date.  To hold your date we require a 50% deposit, if you cancel within 30 days of your event, the fee isn't refundable. I understand things happen so if  your event is canceled up to 30 days before, a full refund will be given.​
